Redneck Rendezvous - September 27-29, 2013

This is a trip to middle Tennessee to explore and tour the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg and to ride the Devil's Triangle (near Oak Ridge)
The riders here are mostly GoldWing Owners forum members, from a variety of locations, who have becomne friends through "Meet and Greets" weekends.  This trip will include members from Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and Virginia, as well and potentially a buddy from Minnesota!  We just love to ride and will find any excuse to gather, visit and explore the roads and the scenery somewhere.

The slide show below includes pictures of us on our way to Decherd, TN, as a general meeting place.  They also include our Saturday tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery in nearby Lynchburg, TN, and the roads surrounding the area.  We came from the west on Highway 64E.  The road to Lynchburg is Highway 50 (Scenic Highway).  On Sunday, a bunch of our friends from Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Alabama joined us for lunch in Oak Ridge (a suburb of Knoxville) and then we headed out towards the Devil's Triangle near Oliver Springs.  We road the 45 mile loop and scraped pegs for an hour or more.  See www.DevilsTriangleTN.com for more info on this awesome set of roads.  Be sure to read the "warning" to get a better idea of why we chose to gather here to ride.  We love a challenge!

Just having fun in the parking lot.  We just love "lighting them up!"
